ABOUT ME
Marsha graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound and is a licensed Physical Therapist through the State of Washington. She provided physical therapy in several MultiCare Hospitals for over 15 years. In 2006, Marsha opened Rainbow Rehab, PLLC in Lakewood, Washington to provide a more one-on-one outpatient rehabilitation service. Marsha has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Washington State Physical Therapy Association (WAPTA) since 1984. She has been a private practice member since 2006 and has attended ongoing continuing education classes to stay up-to-date with the most current treatment practices. We partner with Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapist Assistant schools to provide clinical experience to students in accredited programs.

Services

COMPASSIONATE PHYSICAL THERAPY WITH A PERSONAL TOUCH We are committed to delivering customized treatment strategies crafted specifically for your needs. Covering everything from injury recovery to managing chronic pain. We provide an extensive array of therapeutic approaches to restore your vigor, flexibility, physical condition and functional tolerances. Initial evaluations are scheduled for 45-60 minutes of one-on-one time. A complete medical and physical history is obtained, as well as a current condition assessment. Your issues are listened to, symptoms evaluated, and a team approach is taken to set your goals. We work together to develop a plan of care to provide you with optimal outcomes. Treatments can include heat, ultrasound, electric stimulation, cryotherapy, targeted workouts, education for home stretches, strengthening exercises, and improved body mechanic awareness. Treatments can also include a hands-on approach. We provide manual therapy as well as localized massage. We also provide wheelchair assessments in coordination with local Mobility Device Vendors. We perform modified Functional Capacity Evaluations to help determine your tolerance to work activities. Our clinic is fully equipped with a Nautilus gym, treadmill, elliptical, stationary and recumbent bikes, Total Gym, Theraband resistance, therapy balls, and more.
Heat/Ultrasound/Cryotherapy
These services promote healing and relieve pain through targeted therapy at site specific locations.
Electric Stimulation
Electric stimulation alleviates tension, improves circulation, and enhances relaxation at specific locations.
Stretches and Strengthening Exercises
Individualized specific exercises help target weaknees and develop balance for improved movement
Sports, Work Injury and Auto Accident Recovery
Targeted treatment for musculoskeletal issues and sports injuries. Coordinate personal recovery with identifying return to work needs to get you sucessfully back to your job. Provide symptom management and development of a progressive program based on your individual needs after injury from a motor vehicle accident.
Post-surgery Recovery
Comprehensive post-surgery therapy aids in a smooth and speedy recovery process.

We accept most insurances including: L&I/Workers Comp, Medicare, Medicaid, Third Party/PI-3 MVA, Regence BC/BS, and many more. We also accept cash payments too. Please call to confirm coverage.
